Eek! We’ve made it to the top 10!!! This is where the great games get to… and believe me, there are some fantastic games here! Take a look for yourself!!!

10) Dead or Alive 2 – 43 points:

A whole 10 points above position 11, this one was actually in the top 5 to begin with. However, it soon slipped, but a fighting game of this calibre is certainly worthy of the top 10 at least! Bouncing breasts are not the only thing this game has to offer! One of the finest fighting games on our little white box, its counter system makes it involving and difficult to master. Simply put, it’s a classic!

9) Skies of Arcadia – 45 points

Another of the only 3 great DC RPG’s… this one comes 9 places higher than Grandia 2. I have just begun this epic adventure, and so far, I think it’s amazing! The story, gameplay and graphics are all top notch. Overworks has done a great job in making this an RPG experience unlike any other. If only the random battle encounters weren’t so high though!!!

8) Resident Evil CODE: Veronica – 69 points:

The finest survival horror game on the DC, and probably even the best Resident Evil in the series! Scares abound in this adventure, when Claire Redfield goes in search of her brother Chris… but encounters more than she bargained for! Great stuff!!!

Joint 6^th) Metropolis Street Racer/Sonic Adventure – 75 points:

MSR is one hell of a racing game! Originally planned as a launch title for the DC, the game came out over a year late after much graphic and gameplay tweaking. The finished product, however, is a masterpiece in game design. Twisting the bog-standard racing formula via the inclusion of the Kudos system, Bizarre Creations have made one great game!!!  

Sonic is SEGA’s mascot, and it was obvious that he would be at the DC’s launch. And so he was, in this great game! The best selling Dreamcast game ever, it is still in the top 10 DC retail charts after its launch nearly 2 years ago!!! A true DC classic… however, it could soon be overshadowed by its sequel!!!
